The Fourth of July may have come and gone, but it's never too late to get to work on a rocking swimsuit body. And the best part of summer is that we can work on those beach bodies at the beach!
Who better to show us how than Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hailey Clauson. The 20-year-old perky blonde bombshell has been modeling for seven years, but this year was the first time she was chosen to model for the venerable SI swimwear edition.
Needless to say, Clauson's profession demands that she take fitness very seriously.
"It's like being an athlete," she says of her exercise schedule. "It takes constant focus."
To show us how she keeps her bikini body in shape all year long, Clauson, who lives in Manhattan, recruited her personal trainer, and boyfriend, Jullien Herrera for a workout on the beach at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
With nothing but her Victoria's Secret Pink bikini and a few pieces of driftwood, Clauson went through Herrera’s full body workout, which includes three sets of four exercises, with 15-30 reps depending on one’s level of fitness.
"During the summer you should definitely take advantage of the weather and work out outside," she advises. "Especially in New York, because summer doesn't last forever."
